The movie ‘Weaving Shibusa’ shows the story of Japanese craftsmanship and dedication for making denim.
Really worth watching for everybody interested in fashion.
It gives a nice look behind the scenes and tells not only about the materials, machines and techniques
but also about the world-renowned vintage denim experts from Japan, the highly regarded “Osaka 5”.
Japans’s denim revival comes from these experts and through their work the Japense denim is considered
highest quality possible. What will the future of these garments be like?
